Showing a little lobster boat love, Portland is a great little city…how many people get to walk down the street and see this?

It’s going to be a pretty busy summer, 18 shows and counting. I’m really excited to be participating in the Yarmouth Clam Festival and the Newport Folk Festival this year, first time ever!! Stop by if you’re in the area and check out all the shoreside chic goods…and as always you can shop online :)

One of the biggest challenges I have is keeping everything straight and organized. It had gotten so bad that I couldn’t see the floor and my jewelry supplies were taking over my entire apartment…lol. I had to do something soon or else it would of been a really rough summer. I did a before and after pic. Get ready….

What a difference plastic bins and containers make, I can now see all of my supplies. Next project: decorate the walls :)

TODAY ONLY, Mainely Mara is having a flash offer for Shoreside Chic. Sign up to be a member (it’s free) and receive discounts to all the local boutiques and spas in Portland. Check it out: http://mainelymara.com/

Each month, Bath Savings Institution features a business to display promoting their Neighbor to Neighbor community program. Shoreside Chic is very proud and thankful to be chosen for the month of April. Stop in and check out our display in the South Portland branch location. I had a really great time designing and putting it all together.

The staff at Bath Savings Institution are very personable as well as knowledgeable. They are able to assist you with any personal or business banking needs that you may have. Check out their website: www.bathsavings.com for more information.

April has been a really exciting month for us so far. The weather is getting warmer and the summer months are slowly approaching. We are looking forward to another great season. During the summer, we will be located on Long Wharf in Portland (very close to Dimillo’s). More details to come….We will keep you posted toward the end of April :)

Spring is officially here and the weather couldn’t be better. Instead of walking through frozen slush and ice, the days have been warm and in the 50′s. I’ve spent a little time today updating my shop and adding a few spring items. My favorite are the sea glass post earrings. The colors remind me of an easter egg. I hope everyone in New England is enjoying the warm weather. I’ll be uploading more new items in the next few days :)
