Waking up at 5:30am and driving an hour…making a coffee stop along the way. Low tide at Long Sands beach is very beautiful and peaceful. I thought I would instagram a few of my shots from the morning.
The only reason for me to wake up that early to get to the beach is to go surf clam hunting. The Yarmouth Clam festival is less than two weeks away and I can’t pick the clam shells off of the beach fast enough. If anyone has any other great beach spots for surf clams, let me know

The beach on Chebeague Island where the sand bar connects Big Chebeague to Little Chebeague. Indian Point, I think? Full of clam shells.
